Spain based PUA Victor Malvado talks at length about his theory of the ‘new masculinity’, or in his words : ‘the pussification of men in society’.

Rejection always hurts, but is it worse to be rejected by ugly girls than by babes? I dug up a video of Mystery explaining why he feels it is better to be rejected by ‘ugs’ (who cares?) than by the better looking girls you really want to score with.  He dismisses the common feeling that being rejected by ugly girls is particularly bad for the self-esteem.  I tend to agree with the great one here, albeit with a little qualification.  Ugly girls can be particularly vicious when rejecting a guy’s approach, and most guys will think that if they earn such a response from such plain Janes that they are better off not trying with the alpha babes at all.  Actually, it’s important to realise there are various psychological reasons for the viciousness of  certain plain women when finally getting an approach.  Firstly, they are simply not used to it.  Secondly, they are getting all their resentment out at rarely being approached and rarely having the opportunity to brush a guy off.  Finally, plain girls simply need to have the assurance that any guy that mates with them will stick around and look after her and any resulting offspring.  Far more so than a beautiful girl does.  A beautiful girl can afford to have casual sexual encounters, because she will always have guys queing up for the role of protector, even if the father doesn’t stick around.  Plain girls, on the other hand, have no such fallback and so their radars are finely tuned to guys after a quick kiss and run. The bottom line is : don’t think that being rejected by a 5 means you will have no chance with the 9 or 10. Remember that logic always goes out of the window in the wonderful world of PUA and scoring with women! Personally, I use ‘ugs’ as mere warm ups. I don’t have any intention of getting anything more than a 10 minute chat with them…a warm up for the 10 I’m going to really go for later…

This guy clearly isn’t yet a PUA master but sometimes you can learn from watching the mistakes as well as the things done right.  When you are average looking and have ginger hair, the funny guy approach is probably the best method and this guy is making a good effort at that.  When an awkward silence came on he made a couple of comments about the girls appearance ‘I like your fashion, I like your bag’, a bit clumsy but a good basic get out of jail card for the PUA learning the ropes.  It also has to be said that approaching Asian girls, especially tourists (if you are lucky enough to live in a tourist city) is just about the most pain free way of improving your skills as Asian girls tend to be polite and giggly even if they think  you are a dork.
